When you purchases a Couples/Family membership, you become the membership owner and are responsible for managing the membership and its members. This guide will help you manage your membership.
Purchasing a Couples/Family membership is similar to purchasing a Single membership, with a few extra steps:
Owners and managers can add members by going to My Account > Family > Add Member. From this page, the owner or manager can add users in two ways:
1. Registration Link: Any user that clicks this link can register for the Couples/Family membership. The owner or manager can regenerate the link to deactivate the previous link. This method is quick and easy, but less secure.
2. Add Member: The owner or manager can enter the user’s email and role to add members to the Couples/Family membership individually. This method is secure, but requires more manual work.
The owner or manager can view pending invitations by going to My Account > Family > Members > Pending invitations. From this page, the owner or manager can resend the invitation, cancel the invitation, or change the new members’s role.
Owners and managers are able to remove members, they can do so by going to My Account > Family > Members and selecting the Remove button.
Members can also choose to leave the Couples/Family membership by going to My Account > Memberships > Manage > Leave Family, but they will lose access to the members area of the site unless they purchase a Single membership of their own.
If the Couples/Family membership expires, the membership owner can renew the membership by going to My Account > Family > Family Settings and selecting Renew. The Couples/Family owner will then go through a checkout process for the new membership. Members will receive a notification via email when it’s time to renew.
