Wing’d Rider Update (Presidents Message)

Let us now all HONOR the passing of the Proud GWRRA.
For more than 44 years, the GWRRA was the Premier motorcycle club for the Touring Rider, with an impressive record of achievements. The FIRST WING DING rally was held in 1979 and continued annually all the way to 2022! With GWRRA chapters spanning the globe, it boasted over 80,000 paying members at its peak. Paul and Shirley did it right.

A message to all current GWRRA chapters that are still undecided about what to do as 2022 comes to a close. We now have a simplified process to help you file your IRS 990N for year 2022, help you file IRS form 8822b for your name change to a Wing’d Rider affiliate and help you complete the WRider chapter excel file listing, so that your chapter liability insurance umbrella can be reinstated as a WINGD RIDER Chapter. Wing’d Rider Rally Pre-registration Discount ENDS on 12/31/2022, so if you plan to attend the rally, make sure to pre-register BEFORE the price goes up. In addition, the WRider & WRRally Commemorative Pins have arrived and will be included in the pre-rally registration packets, that will be mailed out in January to all members that have Pre-registered.
